Player Participation Qualifications

Prior Lake Athletics for Youth (“P.L.A.Y.”) is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for all children residing in or attending schools within the Prior Lake–Savage School District (School District 719) to participate in a well-rounded athletic program. 

How do I Register?

You must login or create a NEW ACCOUNT, prior to registering.

To Register for your sport:

  1. Click on the registration bar below for the sport you wish to register. You will need to enter the appropriate information and then be prepared to pay by Credit Card or PayPal.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email receipt of your registration from SportsEngine.  If you think you registered but you do not receive the confirmation email you did not complete your registration. Please be sure to check the junk folder before registering again.

P.L.A.Y. is not responsible for your information, if you need something changed in the future (email address, password) you will have to change that on your profile information on how to do so can be found on our account/website help page

Volunteer coaches needed at ALL Levels !!

Being a Volunteer organization we rely on volunteers stepping up and that help is really needed as coaches - if you can help at all in this area be sure to register as a Coach. We only ask you believe in "Players First... Winning Second"

This means you have concern for ALL  Players development, safety, moral building and positive coaching will make them a better person and athlete and enjoy the sport. While winning is important - developing and becoming a quailty member of the Team and community is more important as our over all goal of youth sports!

Spring Sport Registration Info

The links for all open spring sport registrations are to the right.  Thank you to everyone who registers early in this process as it allows our sport volunteers to better plan for the upcoming season!

If you are interested in coaching this spring/summer, please complete the coaching application, also listed to the right. Then also please visit our coaching page where you can complete additional requirements for coaching (i.e., background check, safe sport training and concussion training). All who complete this process will be considered for coaching roles, though doing so does not guarantee placement as a coach. We are grateful for all who are interested in leading our young athletes.

Spring Sports - Registration Open!


Note: The fees shown include a Capital Improvement Fee for each sport (this fee is used to enhance fields, gyms or other equipment, facilities for P.L.A.Y. Sports) ranging from $6-$16. There is also a $21 Administration Fee that assists in P.L.A.Y. personnel and related expenses, like the website/registration software, and our association with Positive Coaching and other initiatives.

Due to budget reductions at the city and school levels - P.L.A.Y. has instituted a required fee for some spring sports, (Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball & Football) all require Field Maintenance and line striping by P.L.A.Y., this fee will be part of the overall registration fee for those sports.


** Each Sport will have it’s own Deadlines for registration, Register on time! There is a NO REFUND POLICY. Once registration ends no refunds will be allowed. **

Late Fees: Any registrations taken after the On-line registration deadline will be accessed an additional $25 fee. Late Registrations will only be taken if there is room in the program for additional players. This fee will be used throughout the program as needed for any additional funding.

Those that tryout for a travel team and are not placed on a Travel Team will be placed into the In-House Program automatically, with a refund in cost difference only. This will happen soon after all the Travel teams are confirmed.
