Restrictions on Player Eligibility

The P.L.A.Y. By Laws state that a participant must reside in and or go to school within the boundaries of the Prior Lake/Savage school district, 719. If you do not meet this requirement you must contact the VP of your sport OR the Administration Director for clarification.

Occasionally P.L.A.Y. has allowed those outside the district that are looking to participate in a non traveling or tryout program (In-House) if their area of residence or school does not provide that opportunity. Without prior clearance by the P.L.A.Y. Executive Board P.L.A.Y. has the right of dismissal of the registration and removal of the participant, even if previously assigned to a team, if it is not in the best intent of the P.L.A.Y. community.

Each governing body of Travel and some In-House sports will have restrictions on whether a player can participate if outside the proper community youth organization borders. This is true at State and National Tournament levels. If an outside player is allowed into the program, they will not be eligible to be placed on a top "A" level team as to prevent association hopping, the highest level will be a "B" team placement.
