Practice Schedule K/1st Grade:

45 min practice (stations) followed by 30 min scrimmage.
Practice Schedule 2nd Grade

1 practice per (1 hour) week on Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri

Times vary from 6-7:30, 6:15-7:45, 7:30-9, 7:45-9:15

Varying elementary. middle schools within the district, high school activity center and Aspen Academy

1 Game Saturday AM/Afternoon
Practice Schedule 3rd-8th Grade:

2 practices per week on Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri

Varying elementary. middle schools within the district, high school activity center and Aspen Academy

Girls 5-8th grade play inter-community through BAC with first game day of 1/4/25 and last game day 3/8/25. Practices will start the first week of December with P.L.A.Y and be in district facilities

Girls 5-8th could have a game on Saturday AM's or on a weekday evenings/PM, depending on gym availability through BAC
Goals for In-House Basketball:
During these games and practices, our goal is to create a fair, safe, fun, and rewarding atmosphere in which to develop players, coaches, and volunteers, all while demonstrating the following principles:
- Make the sport fun for the kids, coaches and parents
- Provide a safe sport through the equipment and facilities we use
- Teach the fundamentals of the game and create a curriculum for the progression of skill development
- Demonstrate admirable sportsmanship both on and off the field
- Work as a team
