Having "Laker Pride" means being an active and positive member of our greater community. P.L.A.Y. promotes the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and integrity and those life lessons should be learned both on and off the field or court. By participating in service projects that benefit the community around us, our young athletes will learn about the power and value of a team of people serving towards a common goal.

• Who?   All P.L.A.Y. Travel Sports Teams
• What? Complete One (1) In-Season Community Service Project (1-2 hours)
• Where? At team’s discretion - The designated “Team Parent” or Coach will be provided a list of suggested opportunities
• When? Each travel team should complete a service project during their season

This effort will benefit our young athletes as much as the organizations we serve. This is a great team-building opportunity, and our athletes will learn valuable life lessons in service to others. P.L.A.Y. is a  highly active organization in our community and this is an opportunity for us to positively impact those around us in meaningful ways. As an example of the impact we have, during winter of 2024-2025, 21 P.L.A.Y. travel basketball teams served organizations in and around the Prior Lake/Savage community with over 550 hours of volunteer work!
