Practices (TENTATIVE and subject to change):
Summer practices will start June 12 and will be Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 at HOMS (no practice July 3). During the school year, we will switch to 2x a week for 1.5 hrs each. Days are still TBD.
UPDATED: Choreography camp will be sometime between July 22 and August 2. We are tentatively looking at Wednesday 7/31 and Thursday 8/1 from 5-8pm both nights. We will finalize these dates as soon as possible. We need to ensure that our choreographer and coaches can be there, and that there is space with mats available. These dates are required. If you have a conflict that cannot be moved, please include it on your tryout application.
The Gold team will compete in 4-5 competitions in November through January, ending their season (hopefully!) at the MCCA State Competition on Saturday, February 1. Competition dates will be announced as soon as we finalize them.
Tumbling: Gold Team members are strongly encouraged to enroll in tumbling classes to continue to advance their skills. Check out Classic Gymnastics (Savage), Bodies in Motion (Prior Lake) or Dynamics (Savage) if you don't know where to start. Some of the gyms offer cheer-specific tumbling classes.
BLUE TEAM - please see the Pre-Competition tab on the website for details about this team option.
