A free pre-season clinic wil be offered for girls through PLAY.
This is still in the works so please check back for updates.
The $25 Dine & Discount card is no longer in use.
This had been used for various field maintenance through PLAY to cover costs incurred due to city and school field maintenance budgets.
This fee is being captured in your registration, but as you can see below you will not feel the effects of this.
Due to the growth of our program we are able to reduce our costs this year. We have become the largest youth lacrosse program in the state. This allows us to spread out our fixed costs (goals, nets, coaching attire, etc.) over more people. In addition with the success of our tournament (last year we netted about $6,500 for eveyones efforts) allows more funds for these fixed expenses.
We have reduce the fees for the boys spring program by an average of $75 per registration. This is partially due to less indoor practice time and partially due to having equipment on hand from prior seasons.
For the girls spring program we have reduced fees by $22 per registration. We have not cut indoor practice time as much, but we were still able to lower the fees for the girls spring program. We have also included the cost of the season ending Playday event which in the past required an additional contribution.
Summer registration fees have been held flat or have been reduced for all levels with the exception of 7th/8th boys*.
As we are adding paid head coaches for each of the teams at the 7th/8th grade level their registration fee is going up by $10 per player.
Summer registration will now cover:
One weekend tournament for each team
Playoff and state tournament fees for the boys
Playday end of season tournament fees for the girls.
These are all items that were paid out of pocket during the season in prior years.
*7th/8th grade boys registration fee is going up by $10 per player as paid head coaches are being added for each of the teams at the 7th/8th grade level. With the elimination of the Dine and Discount card and having a tournament paid for during the year the total cost incurred to play is still going down at this level, it is just not being seen in the registration fee.
